| La Digue Island is the 3rd most visited island of the Republic of Seychelles. It is a granitic island which covers 15km². The way it is makes it the most insular and special island of the archipelago. Compared to Mahe and Praslin, La Digue is the Seychelles most beautiful island and it is a real paradise and it is even said to be the last Eden in the world. The air is extremely pure, the landscape is unique and the sea is fabulous. Bicycle is the main transportation and there is few taxis. With all tourists arriving by boat in La Digue the population of La Digue lives of tourism, all in a soft and simple atmosphere. La Digue is known for its fascinating beaches at Source d’Argent, which are featured on the cover of many travel magazines.
